Yes it is official, Mr. and Mrs. Georgia Cheapskate and Baby Cheapskate are debt free!!! The last payment was made to my Student loan early in the morning on 1-15-2015 ending the vicious cycle of debt payments that my wife and I were locked into for our entire adult lives! As of that moment we don't owe a dollar not even a penny to anyone!
So the big question may be how did we do it?
Well, I realize in retrospect that I should have started this blog three years ago when we started on our journey to chronicle our progress. Nonetheless it is not too late! Follow along as I travel back and show you how we became debt free. I will also reveal some common and some not so common ways that we saved a few bucks to pay down the debt!
I hope that you will agree that being a Georgia Cheapskate is cool!
